Dog Sitting and Boarding

Dog Hollow offers a dog boarding and residential training service. Dogs are boarded in a family environment and are not kennelled or crated unless necessary or requested (crate training only). Dog Hollow specialises in training dogs to live in the city and to be well-mannered household companions. The dogs are taught traffic control, recall in the park, socialisation, heelwork, kitchen ethics and basic good manners. Dog Hollow clients can also see their dogs whilst boarding on our webcam connected to Skype! Each training program is designed according to the owners needs and normally requires 7-10 day stay. All boarders will be living with other dogs in a home environment and are treated as part of our family (and hopefully taught to act the same way!). We can take bitches during their season (all our dogs are neutered) but not entire males over 8 months old. All dogs must be used to the company of other dogs and be well socialised with children. We also require all dogs have the kennel cough vaccine*. Please note that holidays are a busy time so should be booked 6 months in advance as spaces are limited. Pick up and drop off is available Monday-Friday (between 9.30-2.30) Pick up in Central London only. Symptoms include a dry, hacking cough, lethary and runny eyes and nose. This can be fatal in puppies and dogs with auto-immune problems. Your vet will administer this with a spray up the nose and is done annually. Dog Hollow also recommends The Dog House run by Mark and Gillian Thompson in beautiful Wales. I love my holidays at Sophi's!! I get two walks a day...and Sophi knows that I need to visit every lamppost, every corner and every animal I see in the park. She doesn't usually let me - but every now and then i win her over with my charm! I really like Maq - although he does tell me what to do and not do. I have to pay attention or he gives me a nudge. This is ok because I am sometimes naughty and he gets me back on the straight and narrow. Last time I stayed I had a little problem with my eye - but Sophi took care of that and made sure it was all ok. I hear rumours at home of a trip to a place called Barbados...i get the feeling this means i get my own holiday at sophi's again...yippee! (I try to play my excitement down as i get more treats if they think it is sad when they go away!) See you soon sophi.....Love Cooper

My name is Louis and I am a 12 year old border terrier. I have known Dog Hollow, for twelve years, and actually I love Sophi of Dog Hollow more than my owner. She knows every single thing about me and what a dog like me wants. She never lets me get away with anything though. She is the best top dog I have ever known. I love everyone and every dog at Dog Hollow, which is not always the case for dogs of my age. When the new puppy comes she will be just as good with her.
